There is a resiliency in the human soul and spirit. There is an innate human desire to heal trauma, pain, suffering and conflict – whether it is caused by psychologically hurtful experiences, natural disasters, war, and/or social or political tyranny. Healing occurs on both the physical and psychological levels of our beings. Often physical healing is restricted because the emotional conflict associated with the physical disease or symptoms has not been fully addressed. This is true for all humans and does not discriminate based on gender, race, culture, religion or where in the world one lives. Just as pain and suffering are universal to all peoples of the world, so too are the amazingly simple and effective processes of healing offered by energy psychology..
Energy Psychology is a modern day healing process designed to help resolve emotional issues. It is considered a family of interventions that are effective in empowering people of all ages to relieve their negative emotional states and behaviors. It effectively incorporates a mind body approach, using ancient acupressure techniques to access the body’s energy system in combination with modern cognitive and imagery methods that allow individuals to transcend a normal conscious state and shift out of negative thoughts, feelings and memories and see a different perspective on the problem at hand.

It is believed that childhood negative events, including natural disasters, traumas, negative messages or abuse can have a major impact on us, and unless these issues are healed, they are brought into our adult lives affecting our self-esteem, our health, our future and our relationships with others. When these negative memories are healed, symptoms often dissolve, frequently within minutes, and people’s lives are transformed.
Energy Psychology has shown powerful positive clinical and experimental outcomes when used to manage and alleviate, trauma and PTSD, anxiety and phobias, depression, addictions, weight management, pain and school, sports and work performance. These techniques are simple enough for a child to learn and use, yet are so powerful they are being taught to and used by thousands of mental health and allied professionals, disaster emergency first response teams and lay people all over the world with consistent, powerful results. These innovative approaches are also being studied by the NIH, Kaiser and the Veterans Administrations with highly promising outcomes.

The documentary shines a light on the hearts, minds and voices of children of divorce, revealing the many feelings, beliefs and attitudes they often acquire as children of divorce that negatively affect their future lives. Feelings and beliefs such as fear of commitment, seen today in large numbers of unmarried parents, guilt and trust issues, fears of abandonment and intimate relationships are only some of the emotional issues that children see, internalize and then pass on to their own children, the next generation. When parents become aware of what might happen as a result of divorce, they can take the steps to learn the skills to prevent these harmful attitudes and children will be less affected as a result.
We are planning to film the next segment in Kona the first of November. Please donate to the foundation and be a help to us in getting this film completed. Your donation is tax deductible as we are a 501- C foundation.
